Ohio State Park resorts offer special fall travel packages
Looking for a great place from which to launch your leaf-peeping tour? Ohio State Park resorts are offering overnight packages through next month to entice travelers to extend their fall foliage trips.

One- and two-night packages include breakfast and dinner, as well as gift-shop vouchers. Among the deals: Stay two nights at the Salt Fork lodge near Cambridge and enjoy dinner for two, two breakfasts for two and a $25 gift certificate for $309 Sunday through Thursday. At Punderson, a comparable package runs $349 Sunday through Thursday and $389 on Fridays and Saturdays.

Similar deals are available at Mohican State Park Resort, Shawnee, Maumee Bay, Hueston Woods and Burr Oak.
